Višnja Vekić-Kljaić was born on November 2, 1967 in Osijek. She graduated from the Elementary School Dobriša Cesarić in Osijek as well as CUO “Braća Ribar” Osijek and obtained the title of associate for preschool education. She graduated in 1988 from the program of study of Preschool Education at the Faculty of Pedagogy in Osijek and obtained the title of educator of preschool children. She graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Mostar, in 2010 and obtained the professional title of Preschool Teacher. In September 2013, she enrolled in the postgraduate university doctoral study of pedagogy Pedagogy and Culture of contemporary school at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek. She received her PhD in 2020 with the thesis Structural and Content Determinants of the Early Education Curriculum.
She lives in Osijek with his wife and two daughters.
From 1989 to 2021 he worked as an educator at the Kindergarten Osijek, the “Pčelica” facility, in a mixed group with integrated English. Since 2021, he has been working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Slavonski Brod.
She has published several scientific and professional articles in journals, scientific monographs and proceedings in the field of pedagogy and has participated and exhibited papers at professional and scientific conferences. She focused her research interest on the pedagogy of early and preschool education.
